Habitat: On a slope with secondary forest with Pinus jeffreyi., Quercus kelloggii, Q. chrysolepis, Arctostaphylos sp. etc.
Description: Two relatively young trees with smooth, exfoliating reddish bark, foliage very glaucous, 6-7 m tall, dbh 10-15 cm
Miscellaneous notes: Probably planted in the past; no record at Cleveland National Forest Headquarters of this 'population' of several trees; the only known natural population is at Cuyamaca Mountain, ca. 15km south
