Habitat: On flat rocky col near old agricultural terraces, Very widespread in the upper regions
Description: Stems branch mainly from base, 45 cm or more tall. Pale leaves. Deep purplish magenta flowers 1cm wide on spikes 15cm or more long. Aromatic. The populations from hada to Bani Sa'd have pale flowers on {bashier?] plants
