Habitat: East facing aspect in Pinus nigra & P. brutia forest, at edge of road, at lowest point where snow still lay at the edge of the road.
Description: To 15-18m, shoots glaucous white, cones ovoid, slightly forward pointing.
Miscellaneous notes: Occasional dominant trees in open forest.
