Habitat: Edge of subtropical rain-forest bordering moist meadow. Ground soft and boggy
Description: A somewhat straggling evergreen shrub occasionally reaching 10 feet. Mature plant in marshy ground but young seedlings were epiphytic on fallen trees etc. The seedlings were densely hairy in the young stages. Flowers buds swelling. One opened was seen to have a yellow corolla, or at least was yellow in bud.
