Habitat: Limestone screes and turf, in rich humus.
Description: Flowers green-yellow. Inner segments chequered with faint mahogony markings, varying in density. Roundest bell 1' long. Stems 6' to 15' tall. Occasionally two bells on one stem. Leaves bright yellow-green.
Miscellaneous notes: Fritillaria crassifolia Boiss. et Huet. but not typical, apparently very variable.
