Habitat: Coniferous forest with bamboo and scattered broad-leaved deciduous trees. Growing on steep slope under bamboo in partial shade.
Description: Deciduous shrub ca 0.5 m tall. Leaf margin reddish. Corolla yellow. Filaments green, anthers brown.
