Habitat: Steep open grassy hillside on the slopes leading down to the Thita Tso.
Description: A magnificent primula covering hundreds of yards. Corolla a pale golden yellow with a large rich golden yellow eye. Flowers up to 1 &5/18ins. across. Tube paler yellow. Calyx dull red green. No farina. From one to five flowers, usually three on a scape. This primula covers closely a very large area all around the lake. Some specimens show a little farina on back of leaves, chiefly near the base.
