Habitat: Amongst bamboo growth on the ridge near the tree limit and amongst rhododendron carpet at the summit of the mountain (N. slope).
Description: Dwarf shrub forming tangled growths covering a good deal of ground and rising to a height of about a foot; flowers dull yellow and orange red.
